After much thought, discussion, and prayer the Board of Unity in the City has decided to close due to a drop in membership and revenue. We have been blessed to have Rev. Ed Townley and Rev. Carlos Anderson many wonderful guest speakers including Rev. Tony Crier, Edwene Gaines, Rev. David and Irene Tomlinson and Fran Spayne. We have had several homes over the years, and many members. All who came were offered music, ministry and fellowship. To all of you, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for being part of Unity in the City.
We currently owe $3,600 in back rent. Please consider giving a generous one time gift or ongoing contribution to help us pay down this debt. The members of the Board are committed to ongoing tithing until the debt is paid off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please see below for our mailing address or to donate online.
We are considering other ways for our membership to continue to meet. If this is of interest please contact us via email, phone or speak to any of the Board after service. Our final service is on March 25th.
Unity in the City’s message of love, peace, and oneness is a universal message. It expresses through us, as us. As we go forth into the world so does the message of Unity. To all of our members, Reverend Ed and Reverend Carlos, Brother Akili and the entire Music Ministry we say thank you, and blessings.
